Welcome! This is the home page for the Michigan Chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society.
We encourage NCRS members in the Michigan area to join the chapter, as the knowledge, expertise, events, friendships, and technical assistance for your project all exist at the local chapter level.
We have a full calendar of events year-round, including informative Tech Sessions and Judging Schools, our annual indoor Swap Meet, the annual Chapter Judging Meet (replaced in 2008 by the Motor City Regional Meet which we’ll host May 15-18 at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi), our Annual Picnic at the Woodward Cruise, a Road Tour to the Paragon Open House in the fall, one Membership/Business meeting in October, and our Christmas Party in December.
We are also active participants at the NCRS National Convention and the Regional Meets, Bloomington Gold in June, and Corvettes at Carlisle in August; we also support a number of local Corvette Club shows and events, including the “Corvettes America” show at the GM Tech Center and the “Corvettes at Canterbury Village” show.
The Michigan Chapter is very active, and has been recognized by the NCRS National organization as “Chapter of the Year” for 2002, and as a “Top Flight Chapter” in 2005, 2006, and 2007.
In addition, our quarterly newsletter, the “Vette Signal” (actually a first-class magazine with feature stories and technical articles) is included with your Chapter membership, and it’s regarded as one of the finest newsletters in the NCRS.
The Michigan chapter dues are only $25.00 per year, and you must be a member of the NCRS National organization in order to join the chapter. Information on membership in the NCRS National is available at www.ncrs.org
